Artist's Gallery: Graham Downs
Graham has been carrying his paint box around since he was about eight years old. His work is very diverse like his many interests in life. His work ranges from conceptual, quirky or humerous, metal collages to traditional painting. He uses a lot of discarded materials in his collage work; recycling old things that nobody wants, turning them into something beautiful for people to enjoy.
Graham started his career as an advertising art director and illustrator working for many international agencies and has won many awards. But, painting was his escape from that world. He spent two years rebuilding a yacht that is now his floating studio. This is where he paints his island and marine subjects.
New Zealand art critic, T.J. McNamara has described Graham's paintings as "filled with light and full of charm and joy in water, clouds and sky.

Delivery Rates
Our delivery rates are:
- Prepaid A4 Satchel (nationwide): $5 per order †
- Local (North Shore): $5.50 per order *
- Shorthaul (within 150kms): $7.50 per order *
- Rest of North Island: $9.30 per order *
- South Island: $10.40 per order *
† Prepaid Satchel is available for some smaller items that will fit into an A4 envelope. Please do not select the satchel option if your goods are breakable, easily damaged or flammable.
* Oversized items may be charged an additional amount - once you have selected the items you need proceed to checkout to see the exact costs.
