RGM Pastrello Palette Knives
In collaboration with Italian artist Franco Pastrello, RGM has created a whole new series of palette knives based around the technique of painting with soft palette knives . The narrow blade styles allow for superb flexibility and very fine details. The blades are made of high-quality steel that has been specially treated to protect the blade as well as improve the spreadability of color. The ergonomic handles are made from handsome bubinga wood.

Gamsol
Gamsol is an excellent solvent for thinning Gamblin mediums and for general painting. It evaporates 100% and leaves no residue in paint layers. Gamblin Oil Ground
This non-absorbent ground works like a traditional oil ground, leaving finished paintings brighter since the oil is left in the paint film instead of being absorbed. Two thin layers of Gamblin Ground equal four layers of acrylic gesso. Instead of linseed oil, Gamblin Ground is made with alkyd resin for increased flexibility and quicker dry time. - Local Towns (within 150kms): $7.50 per order *

- South Island and Great Barrier: $10.40 per order *
† Prepaid Satchel is available for some smaller items that will fit into an A4 envelope. Please do not select the satchel option if your goods are breakable, easily damaged or flammable.

When we purchased Takapuna Art Supplies in April 2007 our intention was to make new friends and create an environment where professional and casual artists can purchase quality supplies and receive expert service and advice.
